Bullying

Bullying among young people is a serious problem that requires the attention of youth, parents, and school authorities to be prevented and stopped.

Bullying is aggressive behavior that is intentional and that involves an imbalance of power or strength. Sadly, it is repeated over time and can take many forms. Unfortunately, bullying is a common and harmful experience in many children’s social development and is largely preventable.

A new website offers information about bullying as well as solutions to this problem. Those interested can go to the home page at http://www.stopbullyingnow.hrsa.gov or:

There are many other web sites with bullying information, but we especially recommend this one, which was assembled with the input of a Youth Expert Panel.
