Heartland Coalition’s scope of operation is McLean County, Illinois.
Heartland Coalition is concerned with the prevention of youth ATOD (alcohol,
tobacco, and other drug) use, adult substance abuse, and
family or community violence. We want to prevent problems from even starting.
The coalition is not able to respond to questions about youth who are using or who
may have begun to use alcohol or other drugs. If you have a concern regarding a
particular youth who may have already begun substance use, please contact a substance
abuse treatment organization. We suggest you either:
- Contact PATH at (309) 827-4005 for an appropriate referral, or
- Contact Chestnut Health System’s
Youth Services Intake and Referral Coordinator at (309) 827-6026, or
- Contact your child’s school and ask about Student Assistance Program services
available.
If you have a concern regarding recent or potential violence, contact your local
police agency. For information about local violence prevention or counseling services,
contact PATH at (309) 827-4005.
If you have a concern regarding runaway or homeless youth, contact Project Oz at
827-0377.
